Sory Diabaté
October 26th!

Sory Diabaté is one of the greatest balafonists of his generation. Born in Conakry, Guinea, he was trained from an early age by his father, Sayon Diabaté.

He plays several West African instruments and collaborates with many European and African musicians and dancers. He is coming to Canada in October and will be sharing his skills with us in Deep River!!!

We will be hosting monthly classes at Pretty in Ink (across from Metro)!
*Pre-registration is required to reserve your spot*
Timeslot: 11am-1pm

Djembe rental: +$5 (with advanced notice)

The Ontario Womyn’s Drum Camp is an amazing weekend of drumming, dancing and singing that welcomes women to learn and share their rhythm and spirit in a safe and supportive environment.  Whatever your skill level, there will be something for you!
